Vestibular Physiotherapy

What is Vestibular Physiotherapy?

Vestibular rehabilitation therapy is a specific form of physiotherapy designed to improve symptoms related to vestibular (inner ear/balance) disorders. At Neuro Junction we use an infrared video eye recording device (pictured right) to thoroughly assess vestibular disorders. These findings help us diagnose and tailor our treatment accordingly.

Benefits of Physiotherapy for Vestibular Conditions

Vestibular trained physiotherapists use Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT) which includes exercises and specific movements to help the brain to adapt and compensate for damage or weakness in the vestibular system.

Types of Vestibular Conditions
