Complex Home Modifications
Neuro Junction’s Occupational Therapists recently undertook additional professional development in complex home modifications to increase their knowledge in this field of work. These home modifications may involve structural changes to the home which facilitates functional performance and increases safety.
Complex home modifications allow individuals to increase their independence and ability to participate in activities of daily living. For example, remodelling of the bathroom to be compliant with the Australian standard guidelines. The home modifications will aid with balance, support and increase accessibility whilst the client is mobilising and completing tasks.
